Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Chelsea Heights man William 'Bill'.
The 83-year-old was gardening outside an Amaroo Drive home about 9.30am this morning.
He has not been seen since.
Police and family are concerned for Bill as he has dementia.
Bill is described as Caucasian with white hair and is missing some teeth
He was last seen wearing a green jumper with a yellow Australian logo on side with blue track suit pants with white stripes and grey runners.
Police have released an image of Bill and urge anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact Chelsea Police Station on (03) 8773 3200.
