Police are appealing for information following an assault at Bondi Junction.
About 3:30am on Thursday 1 January 2026, a 35-year-old man was waiting to board bus at Bondi Junction Interchange Bus Stop Stand 'A', when he and another man got into a heated exchange.
Shortly after, the 35-year-old man was assaulted, suffering an injury to his left side of the face.
Following extensive inquiries, police have released images of the man they believe can assist with their inquiries.
The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, medium build with dark brown short and slightly curly hair.
At the time he was wearing a white short-sleeved button-up shirt, dark coloured baggy pants with white marks and black shoes with a white "Nike" logo.
