Police seek information after assault - Georges Hall

Police are appealing for information after a man was allegedly attacked at knifepoint by two men in Sydney's south-west.

About 8.25pm (Sunday 29 September 2019), a 19-year-old man parked his vehicle, a red Honda sedan, at the rear of a service station on Marion Street, Georges Hall.

He went to the boot of the car before returning to the driver's side of the vehicle when two armed men approached him.

The pair then allegedly attacked the man, who sustained multiple lacerations. His car was also damaged with all four tyres slashed and the front windshield smashed.

The man was able to drive to a nearby relative's house in Bass Hill before being taken to hospital.

Police would like to speak to the two occupants of a white van that was seen in the vicinity of the service station at the time of the alleged attack.

They are described as being of middle eastern appearance and police believe they may be able to assist with inquiries.
