Police seek information after caravan fire at Mittagong

Police have released CCTV as part of their investigation into a caravan fire in The Hume region last month.

About 2.30am on Thursday 8 July 2021, police were called to Bowral Road in Mittagong after reports of a fire.

Officers attached to The Hume Police District and Fire and Rescue NSW attended the address to find a caravan well alight.

Fire and Rescue NSW extinguished the blaze, about 3.35am, which destroyed the caravan.

Police established a crime scene and are treating the fire as suspicious.

As investigations continue, police have released vision of the fire and CCTV of a person who may be able to assist with inquires.
