Police seek information after crash leaves man in critical condition - Pymble

Police are appealing for assistance from the public after a man was left in a critical condition following a crash in Sydney's north overnight.

Just after 11pm yesterday (Friday 13 August 2021), emergency services responded to reports of a serious single-vehicle crash on Ryde Road, Pymble, near Yarran Street.

Officers attached to Ku-ring-gai Police Area Command attended and found a man trapped inside a silver Hyundai Elantra, which had sustained extensive damage.

The man, aged in his 20s, was eventually released and taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a critical condition.

No one else was injured in the incident.

A crime scene has been established as investigations continue into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
