Police seek information after Melton incident

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman and three men following a possible incident in Melton last weekend.

Witnesses reported the woman was involved in some kind of altercation with the men at Navan Park around 9.45pm on Saturday, 14 August.

The men were travelling in an early model silver sedan, which had a sticker with the word 'transport' on the driver's door.

The car was last seen travelling Centenary Avenue towards Coburns Road.

While the exact circumstances in relation to the incident are yet to be established, police have concerns for the woman's welfare.

A number of patrols were conducted on the night however police were unable to locate those involved or the vehicle.

Police have released an image of the car in the hope someone can identify it or provide information about its current whereabouts.

They are also appealing for any of the people involved to come forward and contact police.

At this time police are only looking into this incident and people should not be concerned about being penalised in relation to Covid restrictions if they come forward.
