Police seek information after serious crash - Murrumbidgee

Police are appealing for assistance from the community following a serious crash in the state's Murrumbidgee region yesterday.

About 2.40pm (Sunday 11 July 2021), a man was riding his motorcycle along Whitton Darlington Point Road, Darlington Point, when he crashed about a kilometre east of Kooba Street.

The 62-year-old rider suffered serious head injuries and was found by a passing motorist.

Officers attached to Murrumbidgee Police District attended and established a crime scene, which was examined by specialist forensic police.

The man was taken to Wagga Wagga Base Hospital where he was also treated for internal injuries, which are not considered life-threatening.
