Shortly after 3.15am on Thursday 25 March 2021, police were travelling to an unrelated matter when they observed a Toyota Tarago van well alight outside a business on Aberdeen Street, West Tamworth.

Two people were seen running from the vehicle towards Edinburgh Street.

The Toyota was destroyed by fire.

As inquiries continue, police have released CCTV images of two men they would like to speak to as part of their investigation.

Police will allege the van was involved in an incident on Monday 22 March 2021, during which cash and methylamphetamine were seized during a search of the vehicle.

Four people were charged and remain before the courts.
