Police seek information on Animal cruelty - Dundee Downs

Northern Territory Police are investigating two incidents in which a number of pigs were shot dead at a property near Dundee Downs.

On 20 March, police were called to the property on Fog Bay Road after the resident reported that 15 domestic pigs had been shot dead and left in situ.

Detective Senior Sergeant Brett Cottier said, "While investigations into that incident were under way, the complainant has since advised that earlier this week, more pigs had been shot, but this time the carcasses had been removed.

"We are calling for anyone with information, CCTV, dash-cam or trail-cam footage, or if you noticed a vehicle carrying pig carcasses in the area of Fog Bay Road between Sand Palms and Dundee Beach on March 26-27, or to the earlier incident, to please contact police."
