Police seek information on Serious harm in Alice Springs 20 December

Northern Territory Police are calling for information after an alleged serious assault in Alice Springs earlier this month.

Around 8:30pm on Friday 2 December, a 60-year-old female presented at the Alice Springs Hospital with a serious laceration to her abdomen. The woman has since been discharged from hospital.

The Alice Springs Criminal Investigations Branch have been investigating the incident and are seeking public assistance.

Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Toby Wilson said "Investigators are particularly interested in anyone who was in the vicinity of Bloomfield Street between the hours of 6pm and 9pm, who may have dash-cam footage. Please contact police on 131 444 and quote reference 10192010.

"You can also make an anonymous report through Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000."
