Police seek information on Unlawful entries in Alice Springs

Northern Territory Police are investigating two separate unlawful entries in which vehicles were stolen in Alice Springs overnight.

Around 2:35am offenders gained entry into a hotel room on Gregory Terrace, where they stole a set of car keys and a quantity of cash before locating and using the vehicle to ram through the locked hotel security gates.

The gates sustained considerable damage as a result, as did the vehicle which was later located abandoned on a street in Sadadeen by members of Strike Force Viper.

A second vehicle remains outstanding after it was stolen in an unlawful entry of a home in East Side around 4:30 this morning.

It is alleged offenders unlawfully entered the home and stole two sets of car keys before returning and taking the vehicle being a white Toyota dual cab Hilux with NT registration 788495.

The vehicle remains outstanding and police are seeking anyone with information as to its whereabouts to contact them on 131 444 or report it anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
