Police seek information: Suspicious car fire, Tivoli

Detectives investigating a suspicious car fire in Tivoli, Ipswich, are appealing for anyone with information or dash cam vision to come forward.

About 2.45am on Friday, August 13, a male passenger was observed on CCTV exiting a silver Volkswagen Hatchback at a Tivoli Hill Road address.

The man approached a silver Audi A4 2005 sedan and were observed pouring fuel under the vehicle before setting it alight.

The man re-entered the hatchback before driving east towards Tantivy Street. A second person was also observed driving the hatchback.

The Audi was significantly damaged.

Police believe the man pictured below may be able to assist with enquiries.

Anyone with information about their current whereabouts, or dash cam vision of the vehicle pictured that may be able to assist with the investigation, is urged to contact police immediately.
