Police Seek Leads in Alice Springs Assault 27 June

The Northern Territory Police Force is calling for information in relation to an aggravated assault that occurred in Alice Springs yesterday.

Around 4:05pm, the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre (JESCC) received a report of a disturbance occurring in a shopping centre on Bath Street in the Alice Springs CBD.

It is alleged a fight occurred between multiple parties, resulting in an 18-year-old female and 36-year-old female being injured. A 20-year-old female offender and 32-year-old female offender were both allegedly armed with blunt weapons which they used to assault the victims.

The offenders fled the scene in a black Holden Captiva with NT registration CF9 5KG and remain outstanding.

The two victims both suffered head injuries and were conveyed to Alice Springs Hospital for treatment.
