Police are appealing for public assistance after a serious head on crash in Sydney's west this afternoon.
About 4.40pm (Sunday 29 March 2026), emergency services were called to Victoria Road, in Ermington, after reports of two-vehicle crash.
On scene, officers attached to Ryde Police Area Command were told a black Ford Focus travelling eastbound when it collided with the rear of a vehicle, before crashing head-on with a Black Mazda CX-8 travelling westbound.

A crime scene has been established and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is underway with the assistance of specialist police from the Crash Investigation Unit.
As inquiries continue, investigators wish to speak with the driver of a black Honda Accord believed to have been eastbound around the time of the crash.
