Police seek man over Kensington Firearms incident

Melbourne North Crime Investigation Unit has re-released an image of a man they wish to speak to following a firearms incident in Kensington on 8 June, Victoria Police say.

Emergency services were called to an address on Derby Street about 12.20pm following reports of several shots being fired. No one was injured during the incident.

Police have recently arrested three people in regards to the incident.

A 25-year-old Preston man was arrested in possession of a loaded firearm and has been charged and remanded in custody on charges including reckless conduct endangering life.

A 27-year-old- Campbellfield man and a 31-year-old Highett woman were also arrested but have been released pending further enquiries.

These arrests highlight Victoria Police’s ongoing commitment to reducing serious and violent crime in the community.
