Police Seek Missing Balmain Teen 16 May

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage boy missing from Sydney's Inner West.

Jaxon Cain, aged 17, was last seen on Laggan Avenue, Balmain, about 8.30am yesterday (15 May 2026).

Unable to be located or contacted since, officers attached to Leichhardt Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and his family have concerns for his welfare.

Jaxon is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm tall, of medium build with brown hair, and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing black tracksuit pants, a black long-sleeve shirt, and was possibly wearing a black hat.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Balmain Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
