Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage boy missing from Sydney's north-west.
Joshua Gane, aged 14, was last seen on Jersey Lane, Hornsby, about 5pm yesterday (Tuesday 7 July 2026).
When he was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Kuring-Gai Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Police and family have concerns for his welfare given his age.
Joshua is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 185cm tall, of medium build, with brown curly hair.
He was last seen wearing a black hooded jersey, black jeans, black running shoes, and was carrying a black backpack.
Joshua is known to frequent the Waitara, Hornsby, and Gordan areas, and utilises public transport.
