Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from the states west.
Alana Lawrence, aged 14, was last seen at a home on Petra Avenue, South Tamworth, about 8am on Monday 27 July 2026.
When she could not be contacted or located, officers attached to Oxley Police District were notified today (Wednesday 29 July 2026) and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Police and family hold concerns for her welfare due to her young age.
Alana is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 160cm tall, of thin build with brown hair and brown eyes.
She is known to frequent the South Tamworth area.
