Police seek public assistance after a bolt was fired into car in Belmont

Police are appealing for information from the public after a bolt was fired into the rear window of a car in Lake Macquarie, NSW Police say.

Police have been told just before 7pm yesterday (15 September 2017), a Subaru Station wagon was travelling south along the Pacific Highway, Belmont, between Evans Street and Hitchcock Avenue, when the driver and his passenger heard a loud bang.
