Police Seek Public's Aid in Charleville Manhunt

Police have commenced a search and rescue operation for a 59-year-old man reported missing from the Charleville region between Friday, 22 May and Saturday, 23 May.

Robert Graham was last seen in the vicinity of Wellwater Road, about 30km north of Charleville, in the hours of Friday evening and Saturday morning, and has not been seen or heard from since.

Family hold concerns for Robert's welfare as his disappearance is out of character.

Robert is First Nations, with an olive completion, is approximately 172cm tall, with a average build and short dark brown and grey hair.

He was last seen wearing a black jumper, black vest, light blue long sleeved work shirt, blue wrangler jeans and light brown coloured mongrel work boots.

A search and rescue operation commenced about 6.30am this morning, in the vicinity of Charleville and Wellwater Road and includes police personal, SES and air assets.

Search efforts have been suspended for the evening and are expected to recommence tomorrow morning, 25 May.

Nearby residents are urged to check their properties, including any outbuildings and sheds, for signs of Robert.

Police are appealing Robert or anyone with relevant information regarding his whereabouts to come forward.

Investigations are ongoing.
