Police Seek Tips After 000 Call

A search has resumed this morning and police are appealing for information after a Triple-Zero (000) call from a national park in the Hawkesbury region.

Hawkesbury and Hunter Valley Police - assisted by National Parks, RFS and SES crews - conducted an extensive search of the Yengo National Park yesterday (Monday 26 January 2026) in an attempt to locate a bogged vehicle, which was reported via 000 at 11pm on Sunday 25 January 2026.

No contact has been made with the caller since, and searchers have been unable to located a vehicle within the park.

The search has resumed this morning.

Police urge anyone with information to contact Windsor Police Station on (02) 4587 4099 – or for the caller themselves to contact police as soon as possible.
