Police Seek Tips on Wollongong Break-Ins

Police are appealing for information following a number of break and enters of homes in the Illawarra.

Between March 2023 and September 2025 homes, north of Wollongong in Bulli and Towradgi were broken into and a number of items stolen including jewellery and cash.

Following extensive inquiries, police believe the incidents are linked.

Police have released CCTV of a man they believe could assist with their inquiries.

He was last seen around 9am, on Wednesday 3 September 2025 in Wollongong's CBD.

He is described as Caucasian in appearance, wearing grey track pants, a khaki shirt and black jacket. He was carrying a black backpack with a distinctive orange strip and a dark blue or black helmet. He was riding a red and black road bike, with red bar tape on the handlebars.
