Police seek witnesses after cyclist collides with van in Indented Head

Geelong Highway Patrol officers are appealing for witnesses and dashcam after a male cyclist sustained life-threatening injuries during a collision in Indented Head this morning.

It's believed the cyclist was riding north along Bluff Road when he turned right into Murradoc Road and collided into a van about 9.30am.

The cyclist, a man in his 70s, was airlifted to hospital for treatment.

The driver of the HiAce van, a 48-year-old St Leonards man, sustained minor injuries and stopped at the scene to render assistance.

His three passengers were not injured.

Officers are working to establish the circumstances surrounding the collision and are hoping to speak with more witnesses to the incident.
