Police seek witnesses after Geelong affray

Detectives from Geelong Crime Investigation Unit are appealing for witnesses following an affray in Geelong on Thursday, 16 December.

Officers were called to Rock O'Cashells Lane to reports of an altercation between a number of teens about 7.20pm.

Three 15-year-old girls were allegedly kicked and punched by several female teenagers, before one had their phone stolen.

The victims, all from Ocean Grove, managed to run away and alerted emergency services to the incident.

The offenders dispersed however police arrested a 15-year-old Corio girl and a 14-year-old St Albans girl shortly after.

Police also located an allegedly stolen mobile phone in the Corio girl's possession.

Both are currently assisting police with their enquiries.

The three victims were treated at the scene for minor injuries.

The rest of the group remain outstanding and the investigation remains ongoing.
