Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses in relation to a vehicle observed to be driving dangerously in Darwin City, before being involved in a fatal crash in Alawa on Sunday 16 May 2021.
At around 2am, the Silver Holden was seen driving recklessly along Knuckey Street before turning onto the Esplanade and heading in the direction of the northern suburbs.
Detective Senior Sergeant Jakson Evans said, "We are seeking any footage, dash cam, mobile, CCTV from the public in relation to this incident. Evidence can be uploaded to https://ntpol.au.evidence.com/axon/citizen/public/9686550.
We would also like anyone seen in the CCTV footage or who witnessed the vehicle before the crash, to make contact with police on 131 444, please quote reference number 9686550."
