Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses following the death of a woman in Katherine earlier this month.
On the morning of 5 August 2022, the woman was located on the corner of Giles Street and First Street, unconscious and non-responsive. She was taken to Katherine Hospital however, sadly died the following day.
Katherine Criminal Investigation Branch commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the woman's death.
Detective Senior Sergeant Paul Lawson said, "Police are seeking to identify the woman's movements prior to being located by staff of a nearby business."
