Police seek witnesses - Disturbance in Darwin CBD

Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses with phone footage of a disturbance in the Darwin CBD earlier today, to contact them.

Just after 4:30pm police responded to multiple reports of a group of people fighting on Mitchell Street.

A 40-year-old man was transported to the Royal Darwin Hospital by St John Ambulance with a minor head laceration.

Police arrested three people; two men ages 36 and 47-years-old and a 34-year-old female, who, along with the 40 year old, were issued with infringement notices for summary offences, including fight in a public place.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the disturbance and are calling for those who witnessed and/or filmed the disturbance, to contact them on 131 444 or anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 referencing PROMIS number 9598679
