Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses in relation to a robbery at a shopping centre in Casuarina on Saturday.
At around 10:40am, an 85-year-old man was in the entrance to a supermarket on Bradshaw Terrace when he was assaulted and robbed by a man unknown to him.
The victim received minor injuries.
The offender is believed to have fled via the northern entrance of the shop.
Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Bland said, "This was a cowardly attack on a vulnerable individual and at that time of day there would have been plenty of people around. Police are urging anyone who witnessed the assault to contact 131 444. Please quote reference 10001354."
