Police seek witnesses - Robbery - Gray

Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses in relation to an alleged robbery which occurred in Gray early this morning.

A taxi driver was flagged down by a man at a service station in Karama around 4:30am. The man requested the driver convey him to an address in Gray.

On arrival, the man produced a 20 centimetre knife and threatened to stab the driver if he did not hand over his money. The man stole a small amount of cash before forcing the driver out of the taxi and driving off.

The taxi was located in Woodroffe by Palmerston General Duties members around 5:00am.

The alleged offender is described as a man aged 25-30, of stocky build, and of Asian and Indigenous appearance. He was wearing light blue knee-length shorts or jeans and a multi-coloured round neck shirt.
