Police seek witnesses - Robbery - Nightcliff 10 July

Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses in relation to a robbery in Nightcliff overnight.

At around 10:45pm, police received a report that a 26-year-old man was threatened with an edged weapon by an unknown offender, before having his vehicle stolen on Gardenia Street.

The silver 2008 Toyota Yaris was later found abandoned on Dalwood Crescent in Malak.

Strike Force Trident are investigating the incident.

Sergeant Kaye Pemberton said, "We have received reports that just prior to this incident the offender attempted to stop two other vehicles along Gardenia Street, a white hatchback and a blue sedan. Police would like to speak with the owners of these vehicles.

"We are urging anyone with information, particularly dash-cam footage, to make contact on 131 444. Please quote reference 10055972."
