Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses to an aggravated assault that occurred in Karama overnight.
At approximately 12:10am a 20-year-old male allegedly assaulted a 17-year-old male with an edged weapon. The victim was conveyed to Royal Darwin Hospital via St John Ambulance. The offender was known to the victim.
Senior Sergeant Warren Scott said, "Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact police on 131 44 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Please quote reference 9578871."
