Police seek witnesses to aggravated assault - Karama 1 November

Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses in relation to an aggravated assault in Karama last night.

At around 10pm, police received reports of a large disturbance involving a number of males, some armed with poles and edged weapons, on Koolinda Crescent.

Two males were conveyed to Royal Darwin Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The remaining offenders fled the scene in two vehicles.

Detective Senior Sergeant Annette Cooper said, "This was an extremely concerning incident and the community can be assured we will find everyone involved.

"We are calling for anyone who witnessed the incident, has information, or who has video footage, to contact police on 131 444. You can make an anonymous report through Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or crimestoppersnt.com.au. Please quote reference number 9835232."
