Police seek witnesses to aggravated assault - Nightcliff 17 November

Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses following an aggravated assault that occurred in Nightcliff overnight.

Shortly before 1am, police located a 31-year-old man on the side of the road with a significant leg injury. The man stated he had been approached by two unknown men, while walking along Kurrajong Crescent, before they had assaulted him and fled the scene.

The two men are described as being of Aboriginal appearance, late teens to early twenties wearing black board shorts and a pink singlet with the second male wearing black board shorts, maroon / brown coloured shirt and khaki work boots.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has dash cam footage along Kurrajong Crescent between 12am and 1am, is urged to contact police on 131 444. Please quote reference number 9849809.
