Police seek witnesses to aggravated assault – Berrimah

Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses following an alleged aggravated assault that occurred in Berrimah.

Between 4:30am and 6:30am on Tuesday 23 June 2020, a 24-year-old female was assaulted by a male near the bus stop, opposite the Peter McAulay Centre on Vanderlin Drive.

The male is described as being of Aboriginal appearance in his early 20’s, of short stature, skinny build with short dark hair. At the time of the incident, he was wearing long grey pants and a blue singlet, then later no shirt.

Detectives from Sex Crimes Unit are calling for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or suspicious behaviour in the area to contact police.
