Police seek witnesses to aggravated robbery at Casuarina

Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses after an aggravated robbery on a public bus overnight.

At around 9:30pm, police received a report that a group of unknown males had forcefully removed a gold necklace from a male passenger on a bus travelling from the Casuarina Bus Exchange.

The group forced the male off the bus where they proceeded to assault him before threatening him with a machete.

The male was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Police continue to investigate the incident and is urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident to make contact on 131 444 with reference to 10519721.
