Melbourne Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Melbourne's CBD on 21 February.
A physical altercation occurred between two men and another man on Birrarung Marr about 9.50pm.
Nearby police quickly responded and separated the parties.
One of the men sustained a minor head injury during the incident.
Police are investigating the incident and would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the altercation.
