Police seek witnesses to Pakenham South fatal collision

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage following a fatal collision in Pakenham South yesterday morning.

Investigators have been told a car turned into the path of a truck on Healesville-Koo Wee Rup Road just after 8.15am.

The driver of the car, an 80-year-old Pakenham South man, died at the scene.

The truck driver, a 63-year-old Warneet man, was not injured.

The exact circumstances of the collision are being investigated.
