Police seek witnesses to Southbank theft from car

Southbank police are making an appeal for information following a theft from a car in an apartment building in Southbank earlier this month.

Investigators have been told a man stole items from a car parked in the basement of the building on City Road about 11.20pm on Wednesday 4 December.

The man is perceived to be Indian in appearance, about 25 to 30 years old with dark hair and a goatee beard.

He was wearing a white tee-shirt, green Kathmandu sleeveless puffer jacket, black pants and dark shoes.

Police have released images of a man they believe can assist them with their enquiries.
