Acacia Ridge detectives investigating a disturbance involving two drivers at Acacia Ridge on Sunday, May 22 are appealing for witnesses and motorists with relevant dashcam footage to contact them.
Around 11.05am on Sunday, May 22 two vehicles were travelling south along Bradman Street when the drivers had a disagreement which resulted in both stopping and exiting their vehicles - a silver 2007 Toyota Corolla sedan and a gold 2007 Mazda Tribute station wagon.
A verbal altercation escalated into a fight, during which time a 38-year-old man was struck in the head with a metal wrench or something similar. The blow caused him to black out. He was transported to hospital where he received stitches to a deep laceration on his forehead.
The other male driver fled the scene in the gold Mazda.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses and motorists with relevant dashcam footage to contact them.
Investigations are continuing.
