Shepparton Crime Investigation Unit detectives and Shepparton Divisional Response Unit officers have seized hundreds of cannabis plants following two search warrants in Shepparton and Kialla this morning.
Officers executed the first warrant at a property on Marungi Street, Shepparton about 8.30am.
Police located what is alleged to be 269 cannabis plants.
A 48-year-old Springvale man was arrested at the scene and is assisting investigators with their enquiries.
A second warrant was executed at a property on Charm Court about 9am.
More than 200 cannabis plants were seized from the property.
At this stage in the investigation the two properties do not appear to be linked.
