Police treating fire as suspicious at Findon, South Australia

Police are investigating and incident at Findon overnight where front door of a house was set alight.

Just after 2.30am on Wednesday 31 July, police and fire crews were called to a Cooinda Street after a home owner reported their front door had been set alight.

The fire was quickly doused with a garden hose by the woman who was home and she and her two children escaped the house without injury.

Fire crews attended and extracted smoke from the house, with a small amount of damage caused by the fire to the front door and porch of the house.

Fire Cause Investigators are attending this morning to examine the scene, anyone with information on the fire, including persons or vehicles seen in the area this morning, is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
