Police treating house fire as suspicious, Hamilton

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a suspicious house fire in Hamilton this afternoon (May 30).

Just before 2pm emergency services were called to the unoccupied Nudgee Road premises at the corner of Stevenson Street and arrived to find the single storey dwelling well involved.

No one was inside and no one was injured.

A crime scene was declared.

Anyone with vision or further information about the fire is requested to contact police.

Criminal Investigation Branch investigations are underway.
