Police treating house fire as suspicious, Wallangarra

Detectives have commenced an investigation into a suspicious house fire at Wallangarra early this morning.

Around 5.30am, police and emergency services were called to the Barawell Street house and found it alight.

It has been extensively damaged by the fire.

A crime scene has been declared with a 46-year-old man, a resident of the house, assisting police with their investigation.

No one was injured as a result of the fire.
