Police Treating House Fire As Suspicious, Gympie 27 October

Police are appealing for public information to assist them in their investigations into a suspicious house fire in Gympie on 25 October.

Around 4.13am police and emergency services were called following reports of a fire at a Lawrence Street property.

The house is currently unoccupied and no one was inside at the time of the fire.

Significant damage was caused to the property and a crime scene was declared.

Investigations are ongoing and detectives are appealing to anyone with information, including CCTV or dashcam vision of Lawrence Street around the time of the fire, to contact police.
