Police have charged a 49-year-old man with an additional 250 charges following a protracted investigation targeting the supply of dangerous drugs in the Darling Downs District.
Between 16 to 18 July, officers from the Toowoomba Protracted Operations Team, Criminal Investigation Branch, Child Protection Investigation Unit, Property Crime Unit , Tactical Crime Squad and the Forensic Search Investigation Team executed a crime scene warrant at a Milton Street property where it is alleged, they discovered a cache of firearms, ammunition, weapons, drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Following further investigations as part of Operation Xray Bombard police have charged a 49-year-old Kearneys Spring man with 244 counts of supplying dangerous drugs, two counts of trafficking in dangerous drugs and one count each of possessing anything used in the commission of a crime, receiving of possessing property obtained from trafficking or supply, use listening device to overhear, record, monitor or listen to a private conversation and contravene a domestic violence order.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to reappear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court on 15 December.
