Police Update 1: Fatal Traffic Crash, Woolloongabba

Update: A 74-year-old man has died following a traffic crash in Woolloongabba yesterday afternoon, May 28.

Around 12.15pm, emergency services were called to O'Keefe Street, near the intersection of Wolseley Street, where an incident involving a pedestrian, and a grey Holden Cruze occurred.

The pedestrian, a 74-year-old South Brisbane man, was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition but passed away this morning from injuries sustained in the crash.

The driver of the car, a woman in her sixties, was not physically injured.

Forensic Crash Unit investigations are ongoing.

Investigators are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant vision to contact police.
