Police Update 1: Fatal Traffic Crash Appeal At Burpengary

Police have located a vehicle suspected of being involved in the fatal traffic crash at Burpengary last night, 17 February.

About 5.30pm this afternoon, 18 February, police located a Ford Ranger at a business on Magnesium Street, Nerangba suspected to be the vehicle that was following the Isuzu truck on the Bruce Highway prior to the collision.

A Narangba man is assisting police with their enquiries.

The driver of the Isuzu, a 46-year-old Redcliffe man, remains in hospital in a critical condition.

Investigators are continuing to appeal for anyone who may have seen the Isuzu or other vehicles in the moments before the crash, and anyone who has relevant dashcam vision, to come forward.

Investigations are ongoing.
