Police Update 1: Serious Traffic Crash At Logan

Police are appealing for information after a man has passed away in hospital following a traffic crash at Waterford West on Thursday, 20 November.

About, 8.19pm, police and emergency services were called to the intersection of Chambers Flat Road and Bourke Street to reports a white Holden Colorado dual cab had struck a pedestrian.

The driver of the vehicle, a 25-year-old Redland Bay man, left the scene prior to police arrival but later returned to the scene and is now assisting police with their inquiries.

The pedestrian, a 29-year-old Loganlea man, was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital with serious injuries however has since died.

The Forensic Crash Unit are appealing to anyone with relevant information, CCTV or dash cam vision to come forward.

Investigations are ongoing.
