Police update 2: Armed robbery appeal, Bundaberg South

Detectives have charged a 16-year-old Childers boy after an armed robbery of a Bundaberg supermarket earlier this month.

It will be alleged a male with a white t-shirt wrapped around his face entered a supermarket on Boundary Street around 7.30pm on December 2, jumped the counter and threatened a woman with a knife and demanded money. The woman complied, handing over a sum of cash.

The man then fled the premises with the bag of money.

Detectives released vision of the robbery and on December 16 a male attended Fortitude Valley Police Station in relation to the matter.

A 16-year-old Childers boy has been charged with one count each of armed robbery and possession of a knife in a public place.

He will appear in the Brisbane Children's Court today, December 17.
