Police update 2: Burglary and Wounding, Coorparoo

Police have charged a 15-year-old Goodna boy with attempted murder following ongoing investigations into an alleged burglary and wounding in Coorparoo this morning.

Police were called to Buena Vista Avenue home at around 3am in relation to four people, a 47-year-old man, a 46-year-old woman, a 21-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman who were injured by three intruders who were allegedly attempting to steal their car.

Police will allege the 15-year-old youth was apprehended by neighbours and taken into custody by police at the scene and the others fled in a vehicle (pictured), registration 435VJP, which was allegedly stolen during a robbery from a residence on Flinders Crescent, Forest Lake early this morning.

The 15-year-old has been charged with four counts of attempted murder, three counts of assault causing grievous bodily harm and one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, break and enter, burglary and deprivation of liberty.

He has been refused bail and will appear in Brisbane Children's Court.

A second 15-year-old boy was taken into custody after presenting injured at a South Brisbane hospital. Police are seeking to locate the vehicle used and any other person involved.

Investigators urge anyone who may have seen the silver coloured Hyundai, or knows its whereabouts, to come forward.
